JUPEM in Peninsular Malaysia and the Federal Territory of Labuan is designated to carry out survey of lots in accordance to the National Land Code (NLC) 1965. JUPEM is responsible to perform the final survey for lot, for the preparation of Certified Plan and issuing of the land title.
With the rapid implementation of computerized project in all States JUPEM like the Cadastral Database Management System (CDMS) and the District Offices Automation System (DOAS) in its surveying activity, JUPEM has successfully created the Digital Cadastral Database (DCDB) with the digital cadastral lot and the Certified Plan Image Library (CPIL) with the scanned Certified Plan in TIFF format. Other than the digital format, these products can also be obtained via SDSM counter.

JUPEM defines and maintains the National Coordinate Reference System and the Vertical Control Datum for the country. It establishes and manages the geodetic infrastructure for the surveying community in government, business, public and individuals for the purpose of national development, security and defense. The geodetic products and services available includes information on horizontal control coordinates, vertical control heights, tidal prediction, geoidal undulation, coordinate transformation and GPS real-time kinematic network data.

The airborne geographical photo/map can be obtained by submitting the application form PPNM 1 (3 copies). These forms are made available at the JUPEM Headquarters, Topography Surveyor’s Office yang, or any State JUPEM office. Upon completion of these forms, they may be submitted to:
